11:48am: My beautiful fiance is ill, so I will be taking the day off to tend to her. If anyone needs me, an owl sent to Malfoy Manor should be able to reach me, though I may have my hands full for the rest of the day.

Shit. No, I'm not housing fugitives. No, I haven't heard from them. No, I don't give a rat's ass what my dad is doing behind prison walls. I'm hiring more security to come and put wards up around the manor. Mother is beside herself.

Can you work from home for a couple of days? I'm having fresh wards put up around the manor. With the recent escapes from Azkaban, I don't know if it's smart for us to be out and about too much.

The daffodils on the grounds are coming up and the place is starting to look like spring.

I've been hearing some rather disturbing things through some of my contacts about attacks on witches and wizards. They seem random, without discernable pattern. The last thing in the world I wish is for you to be put out, but I wonder if you would consent to come and stay here at the Manor until the culprit is caught and brought to justice?

It would set my mind at ease. And I would adore to have your company.

7:43am: Private to Astoria
I had to get up early this morning for a business meeting. Normally I wouldn't conduct business on a Sunday, especially not so early in the morning, but this was a special case. And as soon as I woke this morning, to the sound of my alarm, I couldn't get you out of my head. I would love to see you this evening, if that's all right.

I hope your day is wonderful.

9:27am: Business dealings have kept me rather busy as of late. Though, My mother keeps speaking about this party she wishes to plan.

Daphne, Pansy, Astoria, are you still wiling to help her plan?

12:10pm: I'll be home on Saturday. I have things to discuss with my business associates early next week. Malfoy Enterprises has made an incredible forward leap over the past week or so, and our quarterly earnings are up. And it looks like my mother is going to be assisting in organizing a soiree, which I am also thrilled to attend.

Things are definitely looking up.

7:27am: I'm heading out of town for a couple of days on business. If anyone needs to get ahold of me, I'm available via floo. Perhaps if you ask me nicely, I'll bring you home something from where I'm going. I'll be travelling to a few countries on business, and will hopefully have some time for shopping while I'm away.

I have to put a temporary hold on social activities for my mother this week. She's simply not feeling up to visitors. I am terribly sorry.

8:38pm: I can't believe I went to that silly party on Friday.

12:02pm: Thank you, ladies, for your kindness. My Mother's spirits are definitely lightened. And for dragging me out of the house. Indeed, I'm out and about more. In fact, I'm visiting some businesses this afternoon to look into investment opportunities.

I've been hearing and reading good things about Baxter Bakery. And Luxe Cosmetics. And this Bangin' Bash establishment. I will be around Diagon Alley this afternoon, in case anyone is interested in a cup of tea.

Mother is growing sicker. She hasn't been this ill since I first returned from my trip several years ago. I fear she may not be long for this world with my father still in away. It seems as if they are linked, and as my father suffers, so does my mother. I don't know why, I've never understood the bond between them.

Perhaps my mother needs some fresh air this afternoon. Or a visitor. I should see if I can get in touch with any of her old friends, or any of my old schoolmates, see if we can have some friendly faces around to help her heal.
